Ways to use them
- Stir them into smoothies or drinks.
- Add them to yoghurt or salads.
- Mix them into dough or roti.
A note on soaking
Chia seeds take up liquid and thicken it, so many people stir them into a drink or yoghurt and give them a few minutes. That is a common kitchen practice, not an instruction from the product page, which doesn’t give a soaking time.
Storage and shelf life
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Close the lid tightly after every use and use a clean, dry spoon. The best-before is 9 months from manufacturing.
Allergens
The page says the seeds are processed in a facility that also handles almonds, cashews, pistachios, peanuts, sesame, soy and wheat. Check the label on your pack.
