How Long Does Each Habbitree Product Last? Best-Before and Storage Guide

Habbitree products have different best-before periods, and they depend on what the product is made of. Here is the full picture from the product pages. The period counts from the manufacturing date, which is printed on your pack.

Patterns worth noticing
The ground powders last twice as long as the whole nuts and seeds they come from, at 18 months against 9. Whole almonds and almond powder, for example, are the same ingredient with different best-before periods. The Daily Nutrition Mixes and the Trail Mix, which combine several ingredients, have the shortest period at 6 months.
Storage advice that appears on most pages
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Keep away from direct sunlight
- Reseal or close the lid tightly after every use
- Use a dry spoon
Where refrigeration comes in
Several pages recommend refrigerating the pack after opening, including the nut and flax powders, the whole cashews, walnuts, black kishmish, dried kiwi, cranberries and Fruit Mix. The whole almonds page recommends it for prolonged freshness. The seed and mix pages ask you to keep the lid tightly closed instead. If your pack says something different, follow the pack.
